🤖💡 Cool Stuff we learned about last week 🧠🚀🌆

Three things we learned about last week

  • Do you want to create a short video from a prompt? We just tested LumaLabs, that you can use to create videos in roughly 1min. Upload an image, put in a prompt and voilá, your video is created. We tested it with the following prompt:

    • Upload an image of two people next to each other (i.e. created in Canva)

    • Use the prompt: “Make them turn to each other, smile and give each other a long warm hug

    • Wait & Enjoy 😃 

  • Want to learn more about how companies and professionals are using AI? Then checkout the 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report by Microsoft and Linkedin. In summary: AI adoption in the workplace is rapidly accelerating, with 75% of workers already using AI tools, 78% bringing their own AI to work, and 90% reporting time savings, while leaders struggle to keep pace with 79% recognizing AI's importance but 60% lacking implementation plans.

  • You want to dive into stories visualized by known artists? Then checkout an online Alice in Wonderland book where you can change the impages of the paragraphs based on various artists.

Cool AI Projects / Products we found in the NYC AI Ecosystem last week

  • Brandon is building Nomic AI - Various AI tools, among others Atlas Nomic with which you can visually represent and analze large sets of unstructured data (saw a demo with TikTok Video data - quite impressive)

  • John is building Penguin AI - An app that helps revenue leaders to identify the people and companies that visit their website to then take the relevant actions to convert them into paying customers

  • Max is building Pangram Labs - An app that helps to detect AI-generated text across the web
